National Coalition for the Advancement of Baton Twirling Sandi Wiemers welcomed everyone to the meeting. Thank you to all of the college clubs and high schools that attended this weekend. This was a successful event and appears to be growing. We need to continue to improve and grow with this event. We need to consider having; a program, hospitality events and possibly piggybacking with some other twirling event. Cyndi Higgerson stated that there are 98 college/universities currently in our database. We will continue to compile a solid mailing list. Cyndi will do several mailings throughout the season to continue communicating with all colleges and universities. Adding high school lines should help our event continue to grow and increase the interest in the recruiting fair. The fair will be opened to ALL colleges that wish to be included NOT just the ones competing at our event. (There is a Ma Dance camp July 28-30 at Ashland University in Ohio). We can update the NCABT website constantly so that it becomes a clearing house for high school and college twirlers. Our movement toward continual growth ultimately MUST be athlete driven. If anyone has a link to their school that they would like placed on the NCABT website, please send it on to Regina Moxley for posting. Elaine Gangi Kane will compose written material if basic information is sent to her to expand on. Karen Cammer will send thank you letters to the presidents of each of the schools that competed here in Indiana this weekend. She will also send thank yous to the athletes that competed. This will happen at the very start of the 2008 season. (September). Thank you again for staying for this meeting. Below are the high lights of our discussion. We look forward to the 2008 NCABT Championships. 2008 Championships Competition - Kay Colen Event Coordinator - Karen Cammer (This includes the judges and all
